The next meeting of the LAFCPUG will be Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at the Gallery Theater in Hollywood beginning at 6:45pm. (doors open at 6:00PM) It’s going to be “RED Night at LAFCPUG” Night. How’s that for a title?

This month we are teaming with Kappa Studios and the RED LA User Group to bring you the latest and greatest in what is happening in the RED Digital Cinema world. Igor Ridanovic, DI supervisor at Kappa Studios and co-founder of the RED User Group Los Angeles will describe the workflow for a recent feature project “Unrequited” soon to be released by Arclight. He will discuss the tips for preparing RED sequences for finishing in third party systems and more.
There will be lots of RED Cams for you to touch and drool over in the lobby, and "gotchas" for working with the RED camera on stage. And much much more. LAFCPUG generally meets every 4th Wednesday of the month. Meetings are open to anyone and everyone, beginners through advanced.
