PluralEyes v1.1 Sync Software Adds Support for Vegas Pro
January 27, 2010

Saves hours in post; automates media synchronization for multi-camera, multi-take, dual-system audio editing.

Singular Software, developer of automation applications for postproduction, has announced that its flagship product PluralEyes version 1.1 for Final Cut Pro has expanded its support for non-linear editing applications to include Sony Vegas Pro. Designed for time-conscious video professionals, PluralEyes offers critical workflow automation tools for analyzing media content and synchronizing audio and video clips, including stunning DSLR (digital single lens reflex) camera images. The new PluralEyes plug-in for Vegas Pro provides an array of features for managing multi-camera, multi-take, and dual-system audio productions; including a level audio option, preserving the order of clips, and clip locking for seamless integration into existing workflows.

"Multiple cameras, takes and separately-recorded audio make for great videos, but require a synchronization step that can be complicated to set up and very time-consuming in post-production," says Bruce Sharpe, CEO, Singular Software. "The PluralEyes plug-in addresses this need by quickly and efficiently automating the entire sync process with frame accuracy, regardless of project complexity or camera quality. We are excited to expand our support to Vegas Pro users and provide them with the benefits of automatic synchronization."

The PluralEyes application dramatically accelerates the workflow for multi-camera, multi-take and dual-system audio productions. By analyzing audio information, PluralEyes synchronizes audio and video clips automatically, without the need for time code, clappers or other special preparation. Optimized for fast performance on both Mac and PC platforms, PluralEyes supports both Vegas Pro and Final Cut Pro.

Until January 31, PluralEyes for Vegas Pro is available at a special introductory price of $119 (regularly priced $149 ) via the Singular Software Web site: http://www.singularsoftware.com.

Final Cut Pro and Vegas Pro users can also sample PluralEyes by downloading a fully functional 30-day free trial version from http://www.singularsoftware.com/downloads.html.
