Ugly George is leading a growing list of Indie filmakers who are now realizing that if you have the Content, a growing list of theater chains are now accepting Video as "film" features. Only yesterday, many chains actually SNEERED at video as being (somehow) Not Real; I symbolically visited such a multiplex chain in New Joisey ("Amboy Cinemas") recently that crashed with a $50 million loss-it now sits empty & unrented. They had contemptuously sneered at video in general & UG in particular. I had told them that videocams like this are replacing 16mm filmcams. This new Panasonic AG-40 camera is noticeably sharper than my current AG-150 & certainly easier to use on location, along with its' handy deck.
